Fees and Application Process

We are now enrolling for the 2018-2019 school year. We have limited space and enroll on a first come, first served basis. Families may choose to enroll their child in 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week.

Our 2018-2019 fees are:

Application fee: $50  (returning families do not need to re-apply or pay this fee)

Enrollment fee: $150

Materials fee:  One month’s tuition (1/10 the annual tuition, see below)

Annual tuition rates:
1 day a week:    $2275
2 days a week:  $2670
3 days a week:  $3930
4 days a week:  $5200
5 days a week:  $6435

The Enrollment Process

1. Read our website and make note of any questions you have about anything.

2. Send us an email at ashevilleforestschool@gmail.com to schedule a visit at the school with your child.

3.  Visit at the school site hosted by our Director. If you are still interested at the end of the visit, you will receive a printed Application.

($50 Application Fee)

4. If our school is a good fit for your child, you can reserve the days you want by sending a check for the $150 Enrollment fee and one month tuition (1/10th the annual tuition fee) to the same address you mailed the application.

Other Fee Policies

If tuition is paid in full prior to September 30, the annual tuition rate will be discounted 5%. Otherwise tuition can be paid in 10 monthly payments of 1/10 the annual tuition (see below). The first monthly payment is due upon enrollment along with the application and enrollment fees. The remaining 9 payments are due on the first of the month from August through April.  A late fee of $25 will be assessed on all payments received after the 5th. Payments received after the 15th can result in termination of enrollment.

If a child enrolls after the start of the school year, a prorated monthly tuition figure will be generated.
